KAPLANET empower communities in rural and urban areas with information, knowledge and skills to build resilience, skills, improve food security and strengthen financial capability to transform their livelihoods. The organisation support economic programs through trainings in vocational skills, financial literacy, business enterprise, livelihood and agriculture. This aims to enhance financial resilience for economic empowerment among the vulnerable groups, accelerate progress towards securing livelihoods, rights, resilience and sustainable Development Goals (i.e. SDG 1- No poverty, 2 – zero hunger and 8 -decent work and economic growth) and identifies innovative and creative opportunities / initiatives that increases the economic opportunities available to survivors, widows, women, youth, young people including people with disabilities to set a direct path towards gender equality, poverty eradication, inclusive economic growth, job creation and advancement of economic justice and resilience building on the comparative advantages of partners to improve socio-economic opportunities for sustainable development through initiatives like “Empower Her, Youth in Action, Advocacy for better health, Food security and Livelihoods among other innovative initiatives”.
