KAPLANET work aims at empowering vulnerable young people (10-24 years) with accurate information, knowledge, skills, tools and services related to access to youth friendly SRHRs working with schools, families and communities using innovative and creative strategies to engage young people, capture and highlight their voices in activities programming to enable them live a healthy, focused and productive lives.
The organisation provides avenues for vulnerable young people to share ideas, knowledge, information and best practices on issues affecting their generation hence contributing to a “Healthy living for a healthy young generation”.
We also respond to increasing demand for collective platform for research, training and advocacy for young people by young people with young people, enhance meaningful participation and inclusion of young people in SRHRs programing and mainstreaming young people’s engagement in ensuring that their voices are heard at all levels hence contributing to strengthening sexual reproductive health movement and attainment of sustainable development goals.
KAPLANET further empower vulnerable and marginalised young people to make informed decisions/choices about their sexuality, life skills and development; voice their needs and claim their rights, reinforces positive norms and values (Public Support) and strengthening civil society to advance young people’s SRHR and gender justice.
